A Clean and Simple Experience:
• Barcode Scanning. Increase efficiency and reliability of all inventory data entry by scanning items and serial numbers into QuickBooks without touching a keyboard. QuickBooks can also create barcodes and can integrate with any simple USB barcode scanner.
• Bin Location Tracking. Track specific inventory items down to the bin location level within one or more warehouses. When filling out transactions, automatically see quantities and serial or lot numbers for each bin. Sort pick lists and item receipts by location for efficient picking and stocking.

• Improved Design. Work more efficiently with a new design and user experience that makes the product easy-to-use, easy-to-understand and easy-to-look-at. A unified look and feel helps find the controls needed and determine what actions to take from screen to screen. A design that’s similar to popular Web applications reduces the learning curve. Clear steps remove the guesswork from workflows.
• New Navigation Ribbon. Access commonly used items quickly with the new navigation Ribbon that displays and groups them across the top of transaction forms such as invoices and sales receipts. • List Limits – Add even more Accounts, Classes, Customer Types, Vendor Types, To-Do’s, Customer Messages, components in a Group Item, Memorized Transactions and Sites to lists.
• New Navigation Panel. Access shortcuts to the most commonly visited parts of QuickBooks in one click through a navigation panel on the left side of the screen. Also add favorite reports and shortcuts to the panel.
• Updated Centers. Consolidate and organize more customer and vendor information in the customer and vendor centers. Assign multiple contacts to customers and vendors and pin todo’s to customers. In addition, it’s easy to track twice as many types of contact information for customers and vendors, such as Facebook pages or Twitter handles.
• User-Requested Improvements. Boost overall efficiency in QuickBooks by enjoying dozens of improvements requested by users. For example, tables in QuickBooks 2013 sport larger fonts and taller row heights to improve legibility. Also add multiple notes to contacts and add notes to inventory reports.
